Here's a good list of vehicles that have the 5.7 HEMI that are affected: If anyone has had issues with their vehicle that has the 5.7 HEMI that was related to the lifter/camshaft issue, please feel free to reach out to me to discuss your situation. I currently work at a law firm based out of Colorado and I have several friends that I know who have had major issues with their 5.7 HEMI engines After speaking with the lead attorney at the firm, we’ve decided to entertain the idea of a class action lawsuit for this issue.

The manufacturer has refused to address this issue, leading to some vehicle owners paying nearly $5000 plus for repairs to their vehicles. The class action alleges that the car makers manufactured, distributed, and/or sold the Defective Vehicles with airbags which were plagued by. These issues start out small with a slight lifter tick but can eventually lead to lifter failures and potentially the need for a camshaft replacement. But the complaint for this class action alleges that the engines are defective, with components that fail prematurely, leading to engine misfires and, eventually, catastrophic engine failure. This class-action lawsuit was settled in June of 2015 and provided a wide variety of settlement benefits to the owners of these vehicles for the fuel pump relay repairs. FCA US, LLC put its 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine into Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles between 20. As many of us know, the 5.7 HEMI has significant lifter/camshafts issues due to a serious design flaw. A class-action lawsuit regarding purchased or leased 2011-2013 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles that had defective TIPMs was the only one that came to pass.
